Time off for Residency Interviews

The School's policy regarding time off for interviewing for residencies allows a maximum of five days from an elective and a maximum of two days from a required course to be granted at the discretion of the course director. Students wishing to be excused one or more days must obtain clearance from the course director prior to the first class day and should be prepared to make up time and work missed.

Peak interviewing months are November through January, although interviewing may take place earlier, especially for the early specialty matches, and goes on until early February. (Your rank order list of residency programs for the National Resident Matching Program must be submitted by mid-February, 2012--exact date to be announced later).
