Part B - Required Courses

You will automatically be enrolled in Medical Jurisprudence and Required Transition to Residency for March, 2009. In addition to this, you will be enrolled in TSKI 4001 000 which is only a placeholder for your Technical Skills (ACLS) course. When the dates for TSKI are announced you will have to logon to UTLink and enroll in one of the available sections.

Note: You may not take TSKI during RCC 4000, INTM 4000, FAMD 4000 or any APC selective.

For Required Critical Care and Required Ambulatory Medicine, try to list three choices of months -- even two are better than one. Do not list months you designated in Part A (they are guaranteed). If you cannot be assigned to your first, second, or third month choices, for these courses the computer will assign you to a month at random. In addition to choosing the month for Required Ambulatory Medicine, you must indicate your choice of specialty--either INTM or FAMD.

Required Advanced Patient Care allows you to choose from a list of selectives and you must indicate the title and number for the course you wish to take. This section allows you a little more flexibility in that you may indicate your choice of two courses to satisfy the Advanced Patient Care requirement--please note that you will only be assigned to one of the two courses indicated.
