Match Day 2007

Four years of medical education and clinical training paid off March 15 for the UT Medical School's class of 2007 when they participated in the annual event known as Match Day. Coordinated by the National Resident Matching Program, Match Day marks the moment when medical students around the country find out where they will train as residents and whether they've matched successfully to a program. At the UT Medical School, all graduating seniors matched to a residency program. The top three choices students picked for their training were internal medicine, pediatrics, and anesthesiology.
