Artist: Anne Ribble

Anne Ribble became a hands-on photographer in retirement. It was a logical extension to a 30-year career at IBM. There she worked with photographers as a company representative early on and later illustrated the employee publications she edited.

Clearly bitten by the bug, she began lessons that continue at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston's Glassell School, complementing this by learning computer-based manipulation of images. Her work has been shown at juried shows at the Glassell School and the Houston Center for Photography.

A Houstonian since 1978, she and her husband have enjoyed travel through Texas, Japan and China, India, and Europe.
